Information On Our Books: Our books range from new to gently used. We love knowing the books we buy will be given a second chance at life with you as their new reader, instead of ending up in a landfill somewhere. We buy our books from indie authors, libraries in the Chicagoland area and across the Midwest and from multiple charities. We love to support self-published authors. Selling to us is a great way for their books to get in the hands of readers, but also financially support their author journey. Libraries often get donations and re-sell, and Sugar Shower is always their go-to because they know we want to support them! Libraries often pull items from their catalogs and upgrade their copies; we buy those too! We also love to support charities and thrift stores that sell books. We also donate books to women's prisons. Sugar Shower's CEO was a writer and journalist before opening the company.
