I am Jessica Yeates. I have been with Sugar Shower Co since August 2017
and I am here to talk to you all about sales. I will give you some key
pointers that will help you with getting your first sale and continuous
sales from your customers.
1. Make sure to interact with your customers (even before they are
customers) on your business page and on your personal page (as well as
theirs). This will build a relationship between the 2 of you. People
feel a lot more comfortable if they can connect with someone on a
personal level when buying from online stores/groups.
2. Post daily. New release products, products that have been with the
company for a while and ESPECIALLY your personal reviews on the products
you are selling. If you love the product you are trying to sale others
will also fall in love.
3. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Post live
videos (or just record yourself and then post it if that is easier for
you) with the products. People like to see the products “in real life.”
Talk about your products.
4. Grow your business one person at a time. For every 5 no’s you will have 1 yes.
5. Differentiate yourself from the hundreds others selling the same product as you are. Make yourself stand out.
6. Invest in your business. Buy the products and make samples. Invest in
business cards. Keep both available with you so the next time you are
in line at the store you can talk to the people around you waiting. Give
them a business card and sample.
7. Lastly, follow up with your customers. Message them and ask how they
like the products. When you post new products tag them so they see it.
The key to success is Interpersonal (get to know the perspective
customers), Presentation (photos, live videos), Product Knowledge (learn
as much information about each product we offer), and Closing (making
the sale(s)).
